Introduction
- Our main area of business is the development of software-based font engines which render characters upon a small liquid crystal display. Through the LS-Font System, we provide a series of three different engines to support font rendering on liquid crystal panels.
- Our font engines support many world languages, including not only Japanese, but also Latin-based languages (Western European and Eastern European alphabets), as well as Hindi, Arabic, Thai, Chinese and Korean.
- While mobile phones most commonly utilize our font rendering engines, our technology has also found widespread use in car navigation systems, information terminals, medical equipment and control panels across a variety of machines.
